Vishnu on box office vagaries

Producer Dwarakish is ecstatic about the first four weeks' collections of his recent Vishnuvardhan-Soundarya-starrer "Aaptha Mithra". Vishnu, however, prefers to be philosophical about it.

"Success just happens, and it is god's will that makes a film a great success," he says.

Not to be baffled by the vagaries of the box office, Vishnu adds: "No filmmaker on earth wants to make a bad film. Any other film could have achieved the success mine has."

"If a film achieves unusual success," he concludes, "we should think that this has come about only because of god's blessings."
