B'lore, Oct.19 (NR): Vijay will be seen in three different looks for his next three films and is already working on this process of change.

The shooting of Vijay's next release Devaru which is being directed by director Sadhu Kokila has already been completed. The film is slated for release on November 6.

Talking to media friends at the launch of his new film Shankar IPS, actor Vijay said that he has been making conscious efforts to change his looks to give a feel to the character he portrays.

"For a few sequences in Devaru particularly in the second half, I had to completely shave off my head to look bald. We planned our shooting in such a way that the second half portions were shot after completing the first half portions. Then I had to completely tonsure my head for the new look," says Vijay.

After tonsuring his head for the shooting of the film, Vijay did not return to his normal looks because of the compulsions to look differently in two of his forthcoming films.

"I have got this new look because I had to get a new look for this film Shankar IPS launched today. I am also on two hour workouts every day for looking trim and fit for this film. My physical instructor trainer is Kitty who has been taking lot of interest in preparing me for this role of a very strict police office. Shankar IPS is being directed by M.S.Ramesh who cares for lot of details in presenting his artists. Even my dialogue delivery is different. In most of my films I was featured in rural oriented roles and I was generally speaking in rural accent. But in the film Shankar IPS, the role is extremely urban and I am speaking in urbane Kannada which will have a fair mix of English words," says Vijay.

Well known Bangalore based model Catherina is the heroine of the film. "Since Catherine will be featured in glamorous role, I intend to show my physique like that of a body builder," says Vijay who already had six pack abs in his previous film Junglee.

About his role in Karichirathe which has already completed two major portions of shooting schedules, the actor who has been known for specialized action sequences in his films says that his role had to look different in the second half. "There is a complete transformation in the role that I play from the first half to the second half. My role develops violent streaks as the story progresses in the second half. I have just completed the second half shooting of Kari Chirathe. I have to tell you that we finished the first half portions of the film earlier, because I have two types of get ups in the first half and second half. In the second half, I had to be seen in small hair as the character would have acquired animal instincts because of the circumstances he had to face. I have two heroines in the film. Yagna Shetty comes in the first half and Sharmila Mandre will be with me in the second half. This film would be special for me," says Vijay.
