Sunita in Kannada film 'Ashoka'

Chennai, Aug 3 (IANS) Hyderabad's Sunita Verma, seen in the recently released Tamil film "6'2" with Sathyaraj, is now working in the Kannada film "Ashoka" opposite Shivaraj Kumar.

She is one of the film's two heroines. Shooting for "Ashoka", produced by Ramesh Yadav and directed by Shivamani, is in brisk progress.

The teenager, who has still not completed her graduation, has also acted in the Telugu film "Thrill", directed by K. Veeru. Her Kannada film, "Snehanjali", is yet to complete shooting.

"I would like to be known in the industry as a competent actress like Sridevi," says Sunita.
