Sudeep to start his new film from January 16

B'lore, Jan.5 (NR): Telugu actor Ravi Teja seems to be a lucky mascot for many Kannada film heroes. Darshan got a very big break with Gaja which was a remake of Ravi Teja starrer Bhadra.

Then it was Sudeep who gained lot of momentum in his career through Vikramarkudu in which the Telugu actor had played the double role. Infact Sudeep directed the Kannada flick too. Upendra had a mild hit in Rajini which was a remake of Krishna which had Ravi Teja and Thrisha in the lead.

Now, Sudeep is geared up to work again in the remake of Ravi Teja's Telugu flick Kick directed by Surendar Reddy.

Sudeep will be teamed up with Praneetha Subhash in this film to be directed by P.N.Sathya. K.C.N.Kumar will be the producer of this film for which another important character has to be finalized. Sathya is trying to rope in Bengaluru based actor Shaam who had essayed the role in the original Telugu version and who is doing the same role in the Tamil version. Shaam had already acted earlier in the Kannada film Thananam Thananam directed by Kavitha Lankesh which had Ramya and Rakshitha in the leading roles.
