Shooting starts for Shivraj's 'Ashoka'

Bangalore, Jun 26 Shivaraj Kumar starts shooting for the Kannada film 'Ashoka', being produced by Ramesh Yadav and directed by Shivamani.

This is an action thriller with a strong story that speaks of social evils like corruption and the politician-underworld nexus.

The film will have Sunita Verma as the heroine. Sunita had recently acted in the Tamil film "6'2"` with Sathyaraj in the lead.

Daisy Bopanna will be playing another important role in the film as a second heroine.

Sadhu Kokila has composed the music.
