Shivaraj, Rakshita to star in Narayan's next film

Bangalore, Oct 15 (IANS) Producer-director S. Narayan is busy shooting for his next film titled "Thayiya Madilu".

The film features Shivaraj Kumar and Rakshitha in the lead roles while multilingual actress Jayasudha plays the mother's role.

Narayan says the title (meaning "in the mother's lap") may make it sound like a tearjerker.

"But the film has place for entertaining commercial elements," he adds.

Narayan claims music will be a strong point of the film.

"I was told by the music director (S.A. Raj Kumar) and his assistants that even A.R. Rahman, who heard the compositions, was impressed."

P.K.H. Doss, who has worked with Narayan in many films, is wielding the camera for him this time as well.

Rakshitha says she finds Narayan extremely helpful and supportive.

Shivaraj Kumar is working with Narayan after a gap of nearly six years. The duo had teamed up in the hugely successful "Galaate Aliyandiru", a remake film.
