B'lore, Nov.23 (NR): Hatrick Hero Shivaraj Kumar is donning police uniform after a long gap in Agni Shridhar directed Thamassu for which shooting is in progress now in Bangalore.

Shivaraj Kumar plays the role of a tough Police officer in the film in which he is teamed up with Padmapriya who has worked in many Tamil and Malayalam films.

Shivaraj Kumar hopes high on this film. Thamassu will be the first directorial venture for Agni Sridhar. Shivaraj kumar is excited about the story of this film and also the role he is crafting in the film. "The film portrays lot of human emotions in a transparent manner. The story does not go deep into the Hindu Muslim conflict, but analyses the contradiction of our perceptions. I would not have accepted if the film was controversial. I have studied in a Muslim dominated college in Chennai. I used to go to Mosque and I was doing Namaz. I was also going to Church. I don't believe in religion, I believe in Humanity," says Shivaraj Kumar who is enjoying shooting of the film.

Participating in the shooting in Kanteerava studios where he had to act with artists Shobharaj and others, Shivaraj Kumar said that the dialogues written by Sridhar are very good. He also referred to another sequence in the film in which Yesh had also participated.

After participating in the muhurath of the film, talented multilingual actress, Padmapriya is expected to join the unit from November second week. She is playing the role of a Doctor in the film and will be the wife of Shivaraj Kumar in the film.

"The film's story is a reflection of the director's commitment and perception about the present situation. The film says humanity is more important than anything. The film is more about the contradiction between two individuals living in the same roof," says Padmapriya.
