Shivani is another film with fresh faces

The Kannada film industry is undergoing a churning process now. The recent success of films like 'Mungaru Male' and 'Duniya' which had lesser known stars have brought a sea change in the attitude of the film producers and the film fans. Now, the Kannada film fans are prepared to encourage films with new faces if the films have strength. The films featuring big stars have failed to make a mark, but the films with youngsters and fresh faces are meeting with encouragement. And some of the flaws in the films with new faces are even forgotten by the audience. This situation has led to the launch of more number of new films. 'Shivaani' is another film with fresh faces. The film which will be launched shortly and it will introduce Sooraj as a hero.

We know people are encouraging new talent and we also believe in using the best young talents' said Narendra Babu, actor and a legislator who is presenting the film 'Shivani' produced by his brother Ne.La. Giridhar and K.S.Shivashankar. The film's list of artists and technicians contain all unknown names and for many of them working in a film is a new experience. But the producers have decided to produce a film which can be of envy of top producers.

Sooraj who has worked only in two films 'Sevanthi Sevanthi' and 'Sirivantha' in small roles will be playing the lead with heroine Shivani who also has a very little experience in the film industry. Vishaal Raj who had worked as an assistant director in Kannada films will be making a debut as a director of the film. Music Director Jamesh Sakleshpur who is also doing the edting work for the film is also a fresher, and Williams will be working behind the camera.

The list has some well known artists like Komal, Avinash, Shobharaj, Chitrashenoy, Vanitavaasu, and Karibasavayya who will play character roles in the film. Still photographer Basavaraja Vaali and Stunt director Different Danny are some of the technicians who are working in this film.
