Sai Sagar craves for independent identity
Dec 12, 2005 R.G. Vijayasarathy
Bangalore, Dec 12 (IANS) Sai Sagar doesn't want to be known as director of his brother Arjun's film.
He says: "I don't think my brother or I are dependent on each other. We will definitely chart out our own courses. It is just a coincidence that I'm directing my second film which is also Arjun's second.
"That is only because the producers of 'Thimma' wanted it that way. They gave me a free hand with the script, which I had written even before thinking about 'Mental Manja'."
Arjun has signed some films with other directors. But Sagar will take up new projects only after completing the ones he has in hand.
The buzz in the industry is that many producers plan to rope in Sagar.
