Ramya will not be dropped: Nagashekhar

Actor-Director Nagashekhar will be directing his next film Sanju weds Geetha with Sreenagara Kitty and Ramya. He is now giving finishing touches for the film's script now.

But Nagashekhar is embarking on a big exercise to remember his Guru Late Shankar Nag in the film. Before the film starts and the title card is displayed he wants to show some exceptional details about Shankar Nag which starts from his childhood to the day of his tragic death. Nagashekhar is now collecting every information, document about Shankar Nag which he is going to use for the film.

About the controversy surrounding Actress Ramya, Nagashekhar says that he has not made any decision to change his film's heroine Ramya. There were some rumours floating in the industry that Nagashekhar was thinking about dropping Ramya from the cast after her controversial behaviour on the sets of Just Maath Maathnalli directed by actor Sudeep. But Nagashekhar has now dispelled all the rumours that Ramya will be dropped from the film.

"The decision to change Ramya in the film has not occurred to me. I had a discussion even today morning with her. Everything is fine with us. I have huge respect to Ramya as an actress. She also has a lot of respect to me as a director. I think that should suit me fine. I have written the script keeping Ramya in mind and I don't like to tamper with my script," says Nagashekhar.

Ramya will also be acting in the Kannada remake of Tamil film Abhiyum Naanum which is directed and produced by Actor Prakash Raj. Sources said Prakash Raj and the film's co-producer B.Suresha had a long chat with the actress in detail and revealed about their expectations during the shooting of the film. The actress is reported to have assured both Prakash Raj and Suresha that it was her dream to be part of such a good project and she would do everything to ensure that the film shapes up well.

Ramya however, will not be part of Just Maath Maathnalli any more as Sudeep has decided to change the script of the film than to pursue with this troublesome artist. Producer Shankare Gowda insists that the decision to use Ramya in the future course of shooting of the film is left to Sudeep entirely.
