Rakshitha to act in 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe'

Multilingual glamour actress Rakshitha who engaged to Kannada film director Prem has already announced her retirement from films. But it has now become clear that the actress may act in 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe' which is directed by her fiancee Prem and which is slotted for release sometime later this year.


Rakshitha had earlier said that she would not do any other film after 'Thaayiya Madilu' and 'Rajeeva', which were released on the eve of Sankranthi festival. Both the films featuring her were released simultaneously. But now her fiancee Actor-Director Prem has spilled the beans to announce that the actress will be starring in his latest film 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe' in an important role. This information has come out from an interview of Prem done in a local channel.


Rakshitha had earlier said that it was her ambition to do an art film which would really showcase her talents. She had stated even Prem had supported her desire to act in an art film and had even promised to produce that film. Rakshitha had announced that she would be out of acting assignments after the release of two of her films on the same day, but would only work in one more art film before or after the marriage. Now she has been countered by her fiancee Prem who has spilled the beans about her working in 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe'.
