Radhika Pandit keeping her fingers crossed

B'lore, June.15 (NR): Bubbly Radhika who floored many top directors like Phani Ramachandra, Naganna with her svelte looks and amazing performance in Moggina Manasu is keeping her fingers crossed even as her second Kannada film Olave Jeevana Lekkachara has hit the screens on June 12.

Though her performance in the film has been appreciated, Radhika wants the film to be a big hit as success is the only Mantra which appeals to the producers and directors of the film industry.

Nagathihalli picked Radhika Pandit for a strong and sensitive role in OJL based on his own story written and published some two decades ago. Though Nagathi and the film's producer K.Manju are going gaga over Radhika's performance in the film, the actress who has the most expressive eyes among the young brigade is little apprehensive. Radhika is paired with Sreenagara Kitty in this film.

"I know the film is very good. Nagathi sir has taken the best work from me to mould my well defined character which can be inspiring for any actress. I never expected such a character to land up just in my second film. In these days of recession and audience apathy to Kannada films, I only wish the film to succeed as much as my first film Moggina Manasu which ran for one hundred days," says Radhika.

Radhika plays an innocent plain jane in this film, but opportunities have been plenty for her to prove that she can be a glamorous diva. In her next film 'Love Guru' directed by Prashanth in which she is teamed with Tarun, Radhika has sported new looks and a falling hair do. She is paired up with Prajwal in another commercial entertainer Super Man where in debutant director Prabha has promised to present her in stunning attires.
