Puneet excited about two of his forthcoming projects
Oct 18, 2009 RGVPrithwi is being produced by Soorappa Babu who had earlier made several successful films with Dr. Vishnuvardhan. Jockey will be produced by the Home Banner and it will be for the first time that Soori will be working for Vajreshwari Combines.
"I am waiting for the completion of the one day shoot of Raam to change my hair do and looks for Prithwi. Jacob has worked very hard to get a wonderful script. Two songs have been composed for the film by Manikanth Kadri. I was really impressed with one of these two songs which reminded me of the Ninnnindhale song in the film Milana. Soori has also done an amazing script for Jockey. We will start the shooting of the film after completing the shoot of Prithwi, because I had to again change my looks for this film," says Puneet. Incidentally, five songs of Soori's film have been written already. Three songs have been written by Soori's guru Yogaraj Bhat and two songs have been written by Jayanth Kaikini.
Puneet's forthcoming release Raam is on the verge of completion. A ay's shooting work will be held on October 11, the second Sunday where Puneet and Priyamani will be participating in an important sequence to be shot inside a train. An introduction song for Raam, Puneet Raj Kumar's forthcoming release was picturised recently in and around Bangalore recently.
Though Puneet Raj Kumar's last film Raaj, the Showman has brought in profits for its producers, it has not been rosy for the film's distributors who have paid huge fancy prices to acquire the rights of the film.
"I don't say Raaj was a great film. I knew that the film did carry mixed reports. But I still think that the film did provide me an opportunity to act in a technically brilliant presentation. It was an excellent team work," says Puneet.
