Now Reliance forays into Kannada film industry

Bangalore, June 25 (IANS) Anil Ambani's Reliance Entertainment is all set to penetrate the southern film market in a big way. It has already announced two projects that will go on floors in August.
While one will be directed by M.S. Sathyu and stars young hero Anirudhdh and National Award winning Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine, the other is a comedy scripted and directed by Mohan. Ramesh Arvind is likely to play the lead in this film titled "Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro".
Reliance is also producing Girish Kasaravalli's film.
Reliance's Big Music is also making its mark in the Kannada filmdom. Recently, audio rights of many Kannada films like Shivaraj Kumar starrer "Bandhu Balaga" and Sudeep starrer "Kaamannana Makkalu" were purchased by the label.
One more addition is "Maadesha". Directed by Ravi Srivatsa and produced by Goverdhana Murthy, the album of Shivaraj Kumar starrer was released recently at Gayathri Vihar in Bangalore Palace.
