Namma Yejamaanaru has story and script by Nagabharana who had earlier made many award winning films like 'Banker Margayya', 'Janumada Jodi' and 'Chiguridha Kanasu'. And he had worked with Dr. Vishnuvardhan in 'Bangarada Jinke' which was made two decades ago. It is after a long gap that Bharana is making a film with Dr. Vishnu in the lead.
Namma Yejamaanaru will have young actor Vijaya Raghavendra, Anant Nag and Ramesh Arvind in other important roles. Navya Nair will have a powerful role in the film, says director Nagabharana who has selected Hamsalekha to compose music for the film.
Namma Yejamaanaru will be the second Kannada film for Navya Nair. She had acted with Darshan in her first film 'Gaja' directed by Maadesh. The film which was released as the first film of this year has turned out to be a big hit.
"I have written the story keeping Dr. Vishnu in mind. I had not told the story to him, but I discussed the story with some friends who suggested to me that only Vishnu sir can do this role. And when I briefed him the story, he was fully impressed. We are starting the shooting of the film on 18th April," says Nagabharana.
Rajashekhar who has made films like 'Saradaara' and 'Shambu' will be producing this film.
Navya Nair is also pleased to be part of this film. "Nagabharana sir came to Kochi to brief the one line story of this film. I was very pleased with the story line and gave the nod to work in this film. I am delighted to work with a big star like Dr. Vishnuvardhan in the film. And I hope that this film will also be a big hit like my first Kannada film 'Gaja' which will be completing a hundred day run shortly. This film has lots of family sentiments in it and I am sure it will be appealing to all sections of audience," says Navya Nair.
The film will be shot in various locations including Chickmagalur, Bangalore, Mysore and Kulu Manali. Click the Movie button below for more info:
