The death of legendary villain M.N.Nambiar is an irreplaceable loss to the Tamil and Indian film industry. But it is also a great loss to Dr. Raj Kumar's family here as Nambiar remained a great and trusted friend to the family. Nambiar was always present in many occasions in the Raj Kumar family.

Dr. Raj Kumar and Nambiar had a special bond of friendship that went beyond their profession. Infact, it was Nambiar who initiated Dr. Raj Kumar to the Aiyappa Yathra every year. And Nambiar was performing the Pooja in Dr. Raj Kumar's house before the Yatra rituals.

Dr. Raj Kumar often described Nambiar as a real life hero and an on screen villain. "Nambiar is my Guru swamy. He is a role model for any actor and his spiritual life endeared him to do many good things in life," Dr.Raj Kumar would say very often describing his relationship with the legendary villain.

Dr. Raj Kumar had often wondered why his pious Guruswamy who was an epitome of all virtues looked so menacing as a villain. "I asked him how he looked so villainous on screen when he was so good in real life. Nambiar sir told me that it was Aiyappa's wish that he should act as a villain in films and be a good man in real life. I always considered him as an epitome of right and good life. Though he was very busy he would come to my house every year and conduct the Aiyappa pooja before we took our annual piligrimage journey," Dr. Raj Kumar would say of his trusted guru.

Remembering many things about Nambiar, Mr. Raghavendra Rajkumar, son of Dr. Raj Kumar said that Nambiar sir remained the most trusted friend of the family till his death. "After my father was released from forest captivity, he wanted to go to Chennai and meet Nambiar. Besides addressing a press meet in Chennai he visited Nambiar's house and Shivaji Ganeshan's house. My father always said that it was through Nambiar he was able to see Lord Aiyappa. There were many villians in this Industry but only a few people like Nambair has had made a mark with good performances and good off screen behaviour," said Raghavendra Raj Kumar who is also an actor and well known producer in Kannada film industry.

There are many people in the Kannada film industry like Dr. Vishnuvardhana and his wife and actress Ms. Bharathi Vishnuvardhna who say Nambiar was the gentleman villain who remained a spiritual guru for many people. "I am praying for his soul to rest in peace. The world would be a happier place to live with more people like Nambiar sir around," says Bharathi Vishnuvardhana.
