'My Autograph' is a mega audio hit

Bangalore, May 19 (IANS) "My Autograph" is the top Kannada album of the fortnight.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "My Autograph": "Araluva Hoovugale, Aalisiri" and "Savi Savi Nenapu, Saavira Nenapu" continue to reign the charts. The tunes have been lifted from the original Tamil film.

2. "Aajay": The initial sales of the audio of the Puneet-starrer have been encouraging. Only two tunes have been taken from the original film "Okkudu". Telugu music director Mani Sharma has not repeated his magic for the remake. "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" has become a popular song.

3. "Tavarina Siri": Hamsalekha's music for this Shivaraj-starrer has proved a strong point of the film. "Baalinalli Eru Peru", rendered by Madhu Balakrishna, is the top song. The audio's fortunes will depend on the performance of the film that releases Friday.

4. "Sevanthi Senathi": The strength of the album is that it is full of popular Kannada folk songs. Music director S.A. Raj Kumar has created the right tunes for the folk songs. "Maayadhantha Male Banthanna" and "Jaaji Mallige Hoovu" are popular numbers. The second song has been sung by the film's hero, Vijaya Raghavendra.

5. "Hatavadi": 'Crazy Star' Ravichandran has composed music for the film. "Aata Hudugaatavo" and Shankar Mahadevan's breathless song are the highlights of this album.
