Mano magic makes 'Mungaru Male' top Kannada audio

Bangalore, Feb 10 (IANS) "Mungaru Male" has an unbeatable lead over all Kannada albums this fortnight.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "Mungaru Male" - This is a rare album with all its songs becoming hits. "Anisutide", "Ondhe ondhu saari" and "Mungaru male" have become chartbusters. And "Mano murthy" had created musical magic.

2. "Jothe Jotheyalli" - The album was a big hit even before the film's release. It is selling well even now, thanks to the film's popularity and the continuous telecast of its songs. "Oh gunavantha" and "Summane summane" are very popular.

3. "Arasu" - "Kaadhal" fame composer Joshua Sridhar's first Kannada album is popular for another reason as well. The film's hero Puneet Raj Kumar has ensured a big opening for the film's audio.

4. "Parodi" - This Upendra-starrer has only five songs, but they offer a musical variety. Composer Rajesh Ramanath has come out with another commercial musical hit. Earlier, the Upendra-Rajanath combo had worked well in "Aishwarya", which was directed by Indrajith Lankesh. Upendra has written and sung the title song "Parodi parodi", which has become a chartbuster. "Cool drinksu" is a hit too.

5. "Kallarali Hoovaagi" - Music director Hamsalekha weaves magic in this period film directed by Nagabharana. The music is the soul of the film. "Kallarali hoovaagi" and "Khaana peena" are extremely popular.
