Maathaad Maathaadu Mallige to be simultaneously released in USA and Singapore

Award winning Kannada film director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar has always released his films in many countries outside India. His last film 'Amruthadhaare' starring Dhyan, Rekha and legendary actor Amithabh Bachchan was released simultaneously in San Jose, USA. Now, Natathihalli' s film 'Maathaad Mathaadu Mallige' starring Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini Manirathnam is being released simultaneously on August 24th in San Jose USA and Prince II multiplex in Singapore. The film which is produced by K.Manju will be later screened in theatres at Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Ohio, Illinois and Michigan in the month of September. The film will be released in Washington D.C. on November 2. According to Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, the dates of release of the film in UK, New Zealand, Australia and United Arab Emirates would be announced soon. The film will be premiered for the first time Belgaum on August 22 where the film's leading man Dr. Vishnuvardhan and other artists are expected to participate. Many leaders of farmer's organizations, theatre personalities and writers are also invited for the premiere slated for 5.00 P.M. in the Evening in the Narthaki theatre in Belgaum.

'Maathaad Maathaadu Mallige' revolves around the single handed fight of a stubborn farmer Hoovaiah who takes on the entire political establishment and multinational corporate to save his piece of land and also the resources in his village. The film has a message against the rapid globalization and economic reforms without any concerns for the poor and under privileged segment of the society.
