Lahari has big projects lined up for future

Bangalore, May.27: On the occassion of completion of three decades in the audio film industry, Lahari Audio recording company has lined up more projects to strengthen its base.


Manohar Naidu and his brother Lahari Velu of the Lahari Vision met the media persons on Saturday to unveil their plans for launching some bigger projects. Already Lahari Audio has started a new company Lahari Visons which would be undertaking such projects.


Lahari wants to give awards for the big achievers in the music world. The biggest award which will be called as Swara Sadhaka award carrying an Rs.1 lakh will be given to the life time achiever in the music award. Another twelve awards of Rs.25000 will be given to twelve persons who have done remarkable work in any given year in the music field.


"Lahari has around 1,40,000 titles in various musical segments. We have been dealing with film and non film music with same interest and have introduced many talents to the musical industry," said Velu.


Lahari has taken the help of Swamy who had worked in different channels to assist them in their new endeavour. Swamy has already worked out many programmes in collaboration with some channels like Zee TV and Udaya TV.


Swamy said that Lahari Vison is now ready with a new state of the art Avid Editing Studio which would also be given to films and television content providers. "We have three cameras for shooting purposes. We are planning to shoot one hundred best Kannada plays in the Video format," said Swamy. He also said that the children programmes would be given their due.
