Kannada cinema gets new action hero

Bangalore, July 22 (IANS): The fantastic opening for "Kanti" has given a new action hero to Kannada cinema: Murali.

His first film "Chandra Chakori" was a big hit and now his second film "Kanti", produced by Kanakapura Srinivas and directed by debutant director Bharat, is also proving a huge success.

Producer K. Manju has reportedly approached Murali for a new film to be directed by Dinesh Babu. Govindoo has also decided to sign Murali for a new film to be directed by debutant director Dwaraki.

Dwaraki, who writes scripts, has taken a love story for his directorial debut.
