'Kadhal Kondein' goes to Kannada

The Dhanush-Sonia Agarwal starrer Kadhal Kondein, the film that saw the birth of a star in Kollywood, is being remade in Kannada.

The K. Selvaraghavan-directed Tamil film finds a Kannada version in Ravana, directed by Yogish Hunsur. While it's Yogesh who plays the lead role, it's Sanchitha Padukone who will play the female lead.

It should be remembered that there were plans earlier by leading producer Rockline Venkatesh and then by another producer N. Kumar to remake 'Kadhal Kondein', which however didn't take off. 'Ravana' is produced by Uday K. Mehta and Mohan G. Nayak and will be completed in a schedule of 60 days.
