B'lore, Nov.23 (NR): Sanchita Padukone's first Kannada film Raavana is still to get released, but this young girl who looks similar in some angles to the much acclaimed Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is already making waves.

She has already signed three Tamil films out of which one is now ready for release and the other two in various stages of production.

Sachitha Plays the second heroine in the much awaited film Vettaikaran starring Tamil Super Star Vijay and another Bangalore based girl Anushka in the lead. She is also acting in another Tamil film Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu which is produced by top notch producer R.B.Chowdhary. Jiththan Ramesh is playing the lead in this film that features Sanchitha in a traditional girl's role. Thirumalai Kishore is the director of the film.

Talking about her experience of working in Tamil films, Sanchitha Padukone said that both the films that she is working in Tamil are very good subjects. "I was very happy when I was chosen to work for Tamil films, but I was also wary because I could face language problem. But I showed some interest in learning Tamil and then started shooting for the Tamil films. I went to some Tamil classes and learnt basic Tamil. Now I am speaking in good Tamil. My third film in Tamil is yet to start, but I am waiting for good opportunities in Sandalwood. I am sure my first Kannada film Raavana is sure to create ripples because of its story value and very good performance by Yogi. Yogi has put in lot of hard work for the film and I could see his commitment during the shooting of climax portions of the film," says Sanchitha Padukone.
