B'lore, Nov.23 (NR): Like in his much talked about film Raaj, the Showman, Power Star Puneet Raj Kumar has crooned for a song in his forthcoming release Raam. The song Hosa Gaana Bajaana for which lyrics are written by Yogaraj Bhat has already become the top chart buster of the album.

The song which has been shot in Switzerland contains a catchy fast beat Tappanguchchi tune for which both Puneet and the film's heroine Priyamani have danced perfectly to the choreography of Imran.

Speaking at the audio release function of the film Puneet said that he has never crooned regularly. "But when I heard the tunes for the song composed by Hari Krishna sir and heard the lyrics of Yogaraj Bhat sir, I really felt like singing this song. I asked both Bhat and Hari Krishna sir whether it would be appropriate for me to sing this song. Hari Krishna, the film's producer Adithya Babu and the film's director Maadesh told me that they had already planned in advance and had decided that I should sing for the song. I was quite happy. Bhat has written wonderful catchy lyrics for the film which would go well with masses. I really enjoyed singing this particular song," said Puneet Raj Kumar.

Talking about the film, Puneet says that Raam is a fun film with pure entertainment for two hours. "I had an opportunity to work with many talented artists like Rangayana Raghu, Sreenivasa Murthy, Doddanna, Sharath Lohithashwa, M.S.Umesh and many others. I enjoyed working for this film. My fans will certainly like the full blooded comedy and action elements in the film," says Puneet.
