I am taking a four month break: Yogeesh
Jan 29, 2010 RGVPresently Yogeesh is working in two films Dhool and Yaksha which are on floors. Incidentally Yogeesh's next film Punda directed by H.Vasu will be ready for release in the next few days. Punda is the remake of Tamil film Polladhavan starring Dhanush and our own girl Ramya, known as Divya Spandana in the Tamil film industry.
Yogeesh says that he plays the role of a normal boy in Punda who has a great passion for a byke. "There is little bit of underworld connection to this film. Love and sentiment elements are also part of this film. The film has a lot of entertaining elements and it was a big hit in Tamil. I really hope for the best in Punda," says Yogeesh who is however a little circumspect over his recent flops.
"I am putting as much hard work in all my films. Frankly speaking I expected atleast two of my last four films to hit the bar of success, but it did not happen. I don't have any control over the success or failure of my films, but one thing is sure. I have worked hard in every film that has been released in recent days. But now I have decided to take up some different type of roles in future. I think audience wants to see me in variety of roles," says Yogeesh.
Yogeesh says that he will be taking a break after completing his two films; Dhool in which he is paired with Aindrita Ray and Yaksha which is produced by his father Siddaraju which is directed by Ramesh Rao. Bollywood actor Nana Patekar is playing a special role in this film.
"I am taking a break of four to five months after completing the shooting of Yaksha. I will have a long period of workouts to tone up my body. One young director has briefed me a story which has really inspired me. I have to tone up my body and look extremely fit for this role. I will engage a trainer to get the physique that is required for the role," says Yogeesh.
