Hrishitha in Kannada

Bollywood actress Hrishitha has now come down South to act in a Kannada film "Valmeeki" opposite Shivaraj Kumar.

She did a few Hindi films and even acted with Abhishek Bachchan in "Shararat", which flopped.

Hrishitha, a find of cameraman-director Santhosh Sivan, played a meaty role in "Ashoka". But her Bollywood career did not take off.

About her role in "Valmeeki", Hrishitha says she has good opportunities in the film to showcase her talent.

"I will be playing one of the two heroines of the film. But it is my role which is more important and has more space for performance", she adds.
