Ganesh Venkataraman in a Kannada film

B'lore, Oct.22 (NR): Tamil actor Ganesh Venkataraman has made a big impact with his first film Abhiyum Naanum directed by Radha Mohan and produced by actor Prakash Raj.


Though Prakash Raj and Thrisha had big roles in the film, it was Ganesh Venkataraman who played the role of gold hearted Sardarji in the film who stole the show with his neat acting abilities.


Ganesh Venkataraman was also impressive in the role of a ATS officer in the recently released Unnai Pol Oruvan and its Telugu version produced by Kamal Hassan, and directed by Chakri Tholeti. Jimmy Shergil had played this role in the original film.


The news is that Ganesh Venkataraman will be working in Kannada film Naanu Nanna Kanasu to be directed by Prakash Raj. Naanu Nanna Kanasu is the remake of Abhiyum Naanum. Ganesh is a successful model and Gladrags contest winner who had acted in Television serials like Antakshari and Mayavi. Mayavi not only did become popular but had won lot of appreciation after winning Jury's special award in Seoul's TV Drama awards in South Korea. Ganesh had also acted in a cross over film The Angrez which was a big success. Ganesh wants to be like his mentor Prakash Raj and wants to act in as many films as possible in many languages. Ganesh says that he wants to work with directors who have the right scripts for him and who can extract the right performance and mould him into a good actor.
