Film role for Kumaraswamy's minister too

Bangalore, Aug 20 (IANS) After Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, it is Home Minister M.P. Prakash's turn to act in a film.
He will feature in a Kannada film to be directed by Kavitha Lankesh, whose debut film "Deveeri" got a National Award. Based on a novel, "Mussanjeya Kathaaprasanga", by Kavitha's father and well-known writer, late P. Lankesh, the film went on floors Aug 13 in Mysore.
Vijay and newcomer Smitha are playing the lead roles in the film.
Prakash is not new to acting. He has worked in many plays. He also acted in director Krishna Masadi's movie "Awasthe". Starring Anant Nag, the film was based on a novel by U.R. Anantha Murthy.
