Dr. Vishnuvardhan who was doing some silent work and showing conciliatory postures through out the present crisis of the Kannada film industry chose to express his opinion about it in the audio release function of his next film ''Ekadhantha" directed by Sachin.

The veteran actor said that any problems can be sorted out if matters are discussed in an atmosphere of trust and good will. "I am confident that the whole crisis can be resolved through negotiations" he said.

''I am of the opinion that every matter of discontent can be discussed among us. Good comfort levels should exist between the artists and the producers. Remuneration of artists is not a matter to be taken to streets or press as the issue is only bilateral. If a producer feels that his leading star is not worth the amount he is asking there is always a solution lying. He can opt for any one who is perfectly suitable for him. Any discontent between the producer and an artist should be settled internally and there is no point in discussing these matters in press" said Dr. Vishnuvardhan.

Vishnuvardhan was severely critical of some producers who were speaking about encouraging dubbing culture. He said the prevailing situation in the state does not call for changing any decision of dubbing non Kannada films.

The veteran actor had however some sympathy for actor Sudeep whose new film was not allowed permission to start shooting. ''If some people deliberately wanted him to suffer what can he does. I am only telling that justice should have done to him even before so that he could not have faced some anxious moments" said Dr. Vishnuvardhan speaking about the delay by the Kannada film producers association in giving permission to shoot ''73, Shanthi Nivasa".
