Composer Patnaik turns director with 'Andhamaina Manasulo'

Bangalore, Sep 9 (IANS) Music director R.P. Patnaik, who is popular among viewers of both Kannada and Telugu films, is now making his debut as film director with "Andhamaina Manasulo".
He says it will be "a feel-good film with a unique narration and a rhythm of its own".
Patnaik has taken the title of his film from a song of his musical blockbuster "Jayam", which was directed by Teja. His first directorial venture was launched in the Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad recently.
S.V. Babu, a realtor with three Kannada films under his belt, produces the film.Bangalore girl Sindhu Menon, who has been making waves in Telugu and Malayalam cinema, is playing the female lead. Apart from her, two new faces, Archana Gupta and Rajiv, will be introduced in the film.
Savi Savi Nenapu, who directed "Santhosh Rai Pataje", will assist Patnaik in the camera department. Kulashekar is penning the film's dialogues and lyrics.
