Chiranjeevi emerges winner in his debut film
Sep 24, 2009 RGVArjun Sarja who has a large following in the Tamil and Telugu film industry had his initial bearings in the Kannada film industry and has been acting in Kannada films not so regularly. Arjun's fans were looking for another successful macho hero in the family of Sarjas. The first two week collections of Vaayuputhra which is the remake of Tamil Hit Sandaikozhi has really gladdened the family members of Arjun and already a few producers have also approached the young Sarja with tempting offers.
Chiranjeevi's another uncle Kishor Sarja who had directed this movie had died just a few days before he was able to complete the post production work of the film. Arjun who is already an established film director in Tamil and Telugu had to give finishing touches to the product which has been well received by the Kannada audience.
Actor Arjun Sarja who had launched his nephew through his own production house had left no stones unturned to make this film a big venture. The film was made with a huge budget obtained big hype in terms of its pre release publicity work. Big vinyl hoardings are still on display all around Karnataka. The audio release of the film was held with the attendance of of some of the biggest names in the industry. Puneet Raj Kumar released the audio and wished Chiranjeevi a bright future.

I knew that I had a big responsibility to prove myself in this film. But I am glad that people have blessed me overwhelmingly.
