Ganesh, popularly known as Golden Star, plays a tough guy who uses his brain more than using his fighting skills to defeat his enemies.

"Ganesh will rock in his new avatar and acquire a mass hero image through this film," Rajendra Babu told IANS.

Rajendra Babu, who has completed 25 years as a director in filmdom, says that while doing the post-production work of "Bombaat", he had seen many technicians in splits after watching Ganesh's performing in the film.

"The role suited Ganesh perfectly and our storywriter Janardhana Maharshi delivered a tailor-made script for the actor who is bound to have a changed image after 'Bombaat'.

"He has acted so well in the film that his fan following will increase and his ardent fans will like the changes effected in the film," said Rajendra Babu.

Ganesh hit the bull's eye at the box office with his 2006 film "Mungaru Male" and repeated the success story with his recent release "Aramane" that has completed 50 days run in many centres in the state. Now hype is building around "Bombaat".

Ganesh is more than happy to be a part of "Bombaat" and said: "As Babu sir said I have a different role in the film. I play a hard taskmaster. Even my dialogue delivery will be different. I have also done some exceptional fights in the film. The script needed an intelligent director and Babu has done his best in the film."

In the film, he is paired with top Kannada actress Ramya and this is their first film together.

The actor also hopes that music director Mano Murthy, who had delivered two musical hits for his "Mungaru Male" and "Cheluvina Chiththaara", will complete the hatrick through "Bombaat".

Murthy has composed five songs for the film - four are melodious and one is peppy song. And he said that he is sure that the album would become a big hit. The audio of the film will be released on Ganesh's birthday July 2.

Producer Rockline Venkatesh too is confident about the film's box office success and says that it will be out and out commercial entertainer.
