Singer Kunal Ganjawala was the star attraction at the audio album release function of the Kannada film Accident directed by Actor Ramesh Arvind. This is the third directorial venture for Ramesh Arvind who has earlier directed two successful comedies like "Rama Shaama Bhaama' and "Sathyavaan Saavithri'.

Accident reminds the Kannada film fans of an earlier classic film directed by Late Shankar Nag in the early eighties which bagged several awards. But Ramesh Arvind is making a seat edge thriller this time and wants to move out from what he calls the comfort zone of making comedies.

Ramesh Arvind is introducing eleven new artists in the film besides including many special features in the film. The audio release function was a meticulous affair with every thing going smoothly and the guests made to enjoy many programmes associated with the function. But Bollywood singer Kungal Ganjawala was certainly the toast of the big crowd that had assembled in the big hall of the star hotel. He released the audio and CD album of the film which is all set to hit the screens on April 4.

"Kannada is my second language. Though my mother tongue is Hindi, I have equal liking for Kannada because Kannadigas have welcomed me with open arms. I have been singing songs here ever since I was made to sing the "Neene Neene' song in Akash. I have a large number of fans here. I get a feeling of elation whenever I sing for Kannada films' said Kunal Ganjawala in the function.

And when he sang two songs of the film it had a mesmerizing effect on the invitees who had attended the function. There was a big clap for Kunal Ganjawala.

Ricky Kej is the music director of Accident. This is the first film venture for this talented musician known for jingles and many orchestrations. Singers Chitra and Avinash added some pep to the function by singing the songs of the film.

Actor and film director Ramesh Arvind who is doing a special role in the film with many new artists said that though he could have made another comedy film for his third venture, he prefered to move into a different zone altogether. And he also added that Accident is a total team effort where in every actor and technician has put in his hundred percent efforts. Pooja Gandhi who is one of the heroines of the film was present on the function along with her family members including her sister Radhika Gandhi who has also been introduced as a heroine in a new Kannada film 'Chikkamagaloora Chikkamallige' directed by Channagangappa.

G.Raghunath of Vishishta Productions who are making this film said that he was lucky to have contacted a talented person like Ramesh before launching this film. He also honored many of his friends and well wishers who have also backed the project. He also thanked Airtel for associating with a Kannada film for the first time.
