Ashima's Kannada debut

The shooting of "Jyeshta", starring Ashima Bhalla and Vishnuvardhan, has started in Mysore.

It is the sentimental story of five brothers who want to remain united despite adverse circumstances.

Ashima has acted in Tamil films like "Ramana" and "Allauddin" and was paired with Chiranjeevi in "Daddy". This is her first Kannada film.

Saurav, Anirudhdha, Avinash, Ramesh Bhat and Shobharaj play important roles in the film, which is being directed by Suresh Krishna.
