Amitabh Bachchan acting in a Kannada film

Indian film industry's legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan will be acting in a Kannada film for the first time. The lucky film director who has obtained Amitabh's nod to act in this film is none other than Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar.


Just a few days ago, the news about Kamal Hassan return Kannada films had attracted a huge media attention. . Now it is the Big B who is acting in a Kannada film. Kamal Hassan, one of the country’s best actor returned to the Kannada films to act in “Rama Bhama Shaama’ directed by Actor Ramesh.


Now it is confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan has indeed worked for four days in a new film “Amrutha Dhaare’ directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar. The shooting of this portion of the film has been shot in Mumbai and the Big B has acted in the role of hero Dhyan’s father. Though people connected to the film has not revealed anything about this development, it is confirmed that Amitabh who had allotted four days call sheet for the film did not want the news to be revealed before the film’s release.


The film's lead actor Dhyan who is paired with the young Ramya in the film did not want to add anything other than confirming that he had indeed worked with Amitabh in the film. “I am really not authorized to talk about this development. But it was really an exciting experience to work with the Big B in the film. Even Bachchan sir did not want the news to be published immediately’ said Dhyan. Nagathihalli who is shooting for the film in Ladakh could not be contacted, because his mobile was off.


For actress Ramya the film with the Big B has come as a big opportunity as an earlier attempt to work with the Super Star had not materialized after initial discussions. Ramya should have played the daughter’s role to Amitabh Bachchan in a Hindi film to be directed by Anil Sharma. Anil Sharma and the producer of the film had flown to Bangalore to have discussions with Ramya and the Kannada actress had even allotted her dates for the film. But it had not materialized then.
