Albums of Ganesh films rock Karnataka

Bangalore, July 27 (IANS) The new music albums have not been able to dent the continuing popularity of "Mungaru Male", "Hudugaata" and "Cheluvina Chiththaara". New star Ganesh's charisma has rubbed off on all three albums.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1) "Cheluvina Chiththaara": After a long time, "Mungaru Male" loses the top place in this list to "Cheluvina Chiththaara". "Ullasada hoo male", "Kanaso idhu" and "Janumada gelathi" have become top hits of the album. Except for "Janumada", all the other songs of the film have been composed by Mano Murthy.

2) "Mungaru Male": The film has completed 200 days, but the audio is still making big waves in the market. Mano Murthy has woven musical magic for this film. "Anisuththid eko eno" sung by Sonu Nigam is the most popular song in the album.

3) "Hudugaata": The film may have been an average success at the box office, but the audio continues to rock. "Stylo stylo" and "Eno onthara" are hugely popular among the young audience.

4) "Duniya": The film is on the verge of its silver jubilee, and its songs have also become a huge hit. "Kariya I love you" is the top song of this album by V. Manohar.

5) "Pallakki": Two popular songs - "Bidu bidu kaddu nododanna" and "Kannalloo neenene" - have given a big boost to the audio's sales. Guru Kiran is one of the best music directors.
