West wants to play Batman's dad

London, June 28 (IANS) Actor Adam West, who played Batman in the 1960s TV show, wants to play the superhero's dad in a movie.

Thesun.co.uk reports that 79-year-old West is keen to star with current Batman actor Christian Bale.

West said: "Well I'd love to. I like Christian Bale. I've heard he's a big fan of mine, but I certainly reciprocate. I think he's really very good. I'd love to play his father. The older Batman comes out of the woodwork when times get really tough. Maybe a few tips here and there."

West is now working on the hit US TV show "Family Guy".
