New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS) After bagging 10 Oscar nominations, four Golden Globes and appreciation across the world, British filmmaker Danny Boyle's rags-to-riches story "Slumdog Millionaire" has found another fan in Nazi thriller "Valkyrie" director Bryan Singer.
"I loved 'Slumdog Millionaire'. I heard so much about the film from Indian journalists in Los Angeles that I was curious to watch it. It's amazing. The east and the west have actually bonded now," Singer told IANS over phone from Seoul, South Korea.
Singer, who is on a promotional tour for the assassination thriller across Asia and Europe, was upbeat about Boyle's underdog drama and couldn't stop raving about it.
Starring Tom Cruise in the lead as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, "Valkyrie" is a historical thriller depicting the July 20, 1944, plot by German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler. It is releasing in India Feb 20.
