London, March 13 (IANS) Kristen Stewarts and Taylor Launter of "Twilight" fame have been evacuated from Vancouver Island after tsunami warnings were issued following the earthquake in Japan.

The Twilight stars were shooting "Breaking Dawn", the next instalment of the vampire franchise on the Island beach, but movie bosses have halted the production. The entire cast and crew moved out of the area as a safety precaution, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Tinsel Korey, 30, who plays Makah Emily Young, tweeted dramatically: "They're evacuating us 4 a tsunami warning. If this … is my last tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz."

"If this is the moment. Then I've lived a good life," she later added. "And I'm thankful 4 everything I've been given."

Both tweets have since been deleted and Korey further assured "Everything is fine. And we ending up getting all of our work done after all."

On Friday, a devastating 9-magnitude earthquake hit Japan followed by a tsunami. The toll is likely to go up to over 10,000. Click the Movie button below for more info:
