London, May 17 (IANS) Acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg says he actually did not want to make a fourth Indiana Jones movie because he felt the ending for the trilogy was perfect.

But Spielberg returned to film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" 19 years after "The Last Crusade". The director admits that he struggled with the idea of bringing back Indiana Jones but he changed his mind when the right script came along, reports contactmusic.com.

Spielberg said: "Resistance - in the sense that I made a deal with George in 1977 on the beach in Hawaii to make three of these things if the first one was successful. And to prove to George (Lucas) that I had fulfilled my moral contract, I designed a shot where Harrison (Ford) rode off into the sunset and that's a classic western side off and I thought that was the end."

The film will premiere at the ongoing Cannes film festival and the studio has spent $150 million to market the film.
