Jun 29, 2008 NR
London, June 29 (IANS) The last performance of the late Heath Ledger in "The Dark Night, is described as "the finest of his career".
Mirror.co.uk reports that those, who have seen the preview, are responding well with the Joker character. Critic David Germain said: "Jack Nicholson's Joker was camp and clever. Ledger's Joker is an all-out terror."
Ledger's character plans abductions, assassination attempts, murders and bombings all aimed to destroy his arch nemesis Batman.
Some say that the actor, who passed away in January at the age of 28 after taking an overdose of medicine, is a favourite for best supporting actor nomination for the Oscars.
