Journalist sues makers of 'Charlie Wilson's War'

London, April 28 (IANS) A retired US journalist is taking legal action against the makers of "Charlie Wilson's War" because footage of his war reports was used in the movie without his consent.
Contactmusic.com reports that Arthur Kent says his intellectual property rights were violated as his footage of the Soviet Union's war in Afghanistan was used without his permission.
He has filed a federal lawsuit and wants the distribution of the film to be halted along with unspecified damages.
The Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts starrer was directed by Mike Nichols. Though it featured a stellar cast, the movie failed to make an impact at the box office. Click the Movie button below for more info:
