'Jack Ryan different from other spy characters'

Los Angeles, Sep 3 (IANS) Actor Chris Pine says his role in upcoming action thriller "Jack Ryan" is different than other spy characters.

The 32-year-old, will be playing the lead role and believes his character is different than James Bond from the James Bond series or Jason Bourne from the Bourne Legacy franchise.

" It's different from Bourne. Jack's a brain. His greatest gift is his smarts and his wit. He's physical but in a completely different way," Total Film magazine quoted him as saying.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, "Jack Ryan" is slated to release Dec 25, 2013.
