'Benjamin Button' tops global box office

New Delhi, Feb 9 (IANS) Brad Pitt starrer "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" tops the global box office by raking in $31 million in 47 markets at the weekend.
The David Fincher directed film debuted at number one in the Britain, Spain and France, making it the second-biggest international opener of 2009, just behind "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa", reported imdb.com.
Tom Cruise's World War II drama "Valkyrie" took the second spot, garnering $11.3 million, and Disney's animated movie "Bolt" is on number three with $9.6 million in 31 markets.
