Shooting 'Lakshya' in Ladakh changed me: Farhan Akhtar
Jan 29, 2012 IANS"I think that film ('Lakshya')...being there for five months and adapting to that (environment) teaches you a lot about yourselves and what you are capable of achieving if you want to do it. It changed me completely as a person," the 39-year-old said here while launching the HSBC Make My Trip credit card.
"I think the person I was before I went to Ladakh to shoot, and what I was when I came back - to me are completely two different people, I wasn't the same," he added.
Farhan also says that, for him, traveling is a learning experience.
"You learn so much about yourselves, about your resilience and sense of adventure, how curious you are about history and geography and people of that place. You learn a lot about yourselves while learning about that place," he said.
He may have traveled the world, but the travel enthusiast says there's no place like India, especially when it comes to food.
"In India, every five or 10 km, you'll find something different to eat. Every place has its own flavour and style of cooking food," said Farhan, whose last directorial venture "Don 2: The King is Back" was appreciated by the audience.
He is currently gearing up for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" wherein he portrays Indian athlete Milkha Singh. The film goes on floors in March. Click the Movie button below for more info:
