My character in 'Dor' is interesting: Shreyas
Jun 4, 2006 Swati R. Chaudhary and Nitin N. SethiEvery scene was unique in some way - which kept the audience glued to the screen throughout the film, reports Bollywood Trade.
"I think all the scenes are just so amazing and are equally close to my heart. One of my personal favourites is when Iqbal is kicked out of the cricket academy and then he comes to his shed where he cries his heart out when he realises that all his dreams have been shattered and he has nowhere to go," says Shreyas.
"Iqbal", which - focused on physical impairment and cricket as its backdrop - shows how Shreyas triumphs despite being deaf and mute, is indeed very thought provoking.
"I believe physical disability is not an obstacle to success and has got nothing to do with your talent," adds the brilliant actor.
His forthcoming film "Dor", directed by Nagesh Kukunoor again, is inspired by a true story that took place in Saudi Arabia and is based on a woman's struggle to save her husband's life.
"All I can say about Dor is it's a very interesting and challenging character, something that I've never done before. It's different from Iqbal. The latter was more taxing physically. I am grateful to Nagesh for giving me this opportunity," he signs off.
