Mayur Puri talks on 'Dil Garden Garden'

'Dil Garden Garden' from the forthcoming sex-com 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' was trending on Twitter in less than 24 hours of its online release, becoming an instant national hit.

Contrary to speculation, its star lyricist Mayur Puri was not inspired to use the 'Dil Garden Garden' mukhda by Gulshan Grover's line in the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'International Khiladi'. Remarks Puri, "'Dil garden garden Ho Gaya' is a commonly used comic phrase in North India to describe a feeling of joy and satisfaction. With this as a hook, the tone of the song was set. We were going to be naughty without any apologies."

He adds, "When I heard the tune by Sachin-Jigar, what hit me first was the easy-cheesy spirit of the song. The lyrics needed to have a made-up-on-the-spot feel. We needed catchy opening words that would go with the film. The director Sachin Yardi narrated some really hilarious scenes from the film, which had me in splits. He asked me to top the dirty quotient, which I've done!" Click the Movie button below for more info:
