Kyaa Kool Hain Hum: Biggest Ramadan opener & among the top 10 openers of 2012

Having opened widely across 1421 screens, which were further increased on Saturday, Balaji’s adult comic sequel Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum opened to a super duper kool weekend of 23.06 cr, making it the highest ever Ramadan opening. With these numbers the film finds a place amid the top ten openers of 2012 so far. (Fri – 7.12 Cr, Sat – 7.03 Cr, Sun – 8.91 Cr.)

Outrageous, pun-filled and unapologetic, the madcap comedy starring Tusshar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sarah-Jane Dias and Neha Sharma, had audiences laughing off their seats. The film maintained its steam on Saturday after a strong Friday, and shot up sharply on Sunday. Business in the Mumbai, Delhi and Rajasthan circuits was at an all-time high.

Given the huge youth appeal and repeat value of the film, the film is expected to achieve a lifetime net box office of 45 crores.
