It is a rewarding moment, says Sharman
Oct 2, 2006 Swati R. Chaudhary"It's a wonderful feeling and a rewarding moment for all of us. It's a great victory for Ronnie, Rakeysh and the entire cast and crew of 'Rang De Basanti'," raved Sharman.
When asked what he felt about "Omkara" and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" - the contenders in this category - he said: "I've seen both the films. It's indeed amazing the way Indian cinema is churning out quality films. I'm glad that 'Rang De Basanti' has been chosen and I hope it makes it to the top five."
On the work front, Sharman has Anurag Basu's "Metro" and Raj Kanwar's "Raqueeb", reports Bollywood Trade.
"As the title suggests, 'Metro' is about the lives of people living in the big city. It focuses on urban relationships and the way people juggle roles. I play this character, who is torn between a hectic lifestyle and work and how he loses himself in the bargain," said Sharman who is paired with Kangana Ranaut in "Metro".
"Raqueeb" is a social thriller also starring Jimmy Shergill, Rahul Khanna and Tanushree Dutta. I play an office going guy who's in the process of climbing the corporate ladder."
