There was no first show of Shah Rukh Khan's much discussed "My Name Is Khan" in Mumbai Friday morning as theatre owners shied away from exhibiting the film following violence by the Shiv Sena. But by noon some of the multiplexes started screening the film and others were expected to do the same later in the day.
The movie was originally scheduled to hit 63 cinema halls in Mumbai. It ran into trouble as Shiv Sainiks started going on the rampage Tuesday, to protest Shah Rukh's statement that Pakistani cricketers should have been included in this year's edition of the Indian Premier League.
